Mezzanine

The Strand’s elegant Mezzanine, like the rest of this historic building, entrances visitors with its reliefed ceiling of Louisiana magnolias, walls and pillars ornamented with golden motifs of ancient Greece, and glass overview of the foyer’s original crystal chandelier and breathtaking mural. Originally looking onto the back seats of the auditorium, the oval opening was floored over in the restoration of the 1980s to eliminate outside noise and light in the theatre. The curved railings have been kept to preserve the Mezzanine’s artistic grandeur.

Rental

The Mezzanine is available for rentals and will comfortably accommodate 75-100 people.

Rental Rates:  $375/hour with a 2-hour minimum and $250/hour after the first two hours includes room rental, staff, ice, and insurance. Does not include but requires security and a cleaning attendant – these costs are determined by the event.

For an extra charge the Strand will provide:

• Full bar with bartender
• Catering
• Lectern and PA system
