J. Howell is an American artist, singer and songwriter from Memphis, Tennessee. He discovered his unique voice while in elementary school and has nurtured it to one of the classic, silky, soul voices that ever rocked R&B. Many R&B fans say that Howell reminds them of El Debarge.
He brings that classic old school soul with the hip vibes that the 90s R&B/Hip Hop served along with those signature gospel runs. His RedRoom EP brings a nostalgic, reminiscent feeling to music lovers and his groundbreaking single Talk charted top 30 in less than 2 weeks on MediaBase and entered the Billboard Adult R&B chart. The single Talk featured Kyle Hippy. In 2021, he released his hit “Somethin About Ya”.
