Preservation Hall Jazz Band

No one represents New Orleans jazz better than Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Founded in the 1960s by tuba player Allan Jaffe, whose son Ben became part of the group after his father died, the band features seven outstanding jazz musicians who carry on the New Orleans jazz tradition. New musical territory is also explored with Afro-Cuban sounds, Nigerian funk and Ethiopian jazz.
