We are very sorry that you were victimized by a third-party ticket seller. This is, unfortunately, a growing problem in the live entertainment industry and we’re constantly hearing about new sites and tactics being used to target consumers and lead them away from sites selling legitimate tickets. In some cases, these sites sell ‘scalped’ tickets – legitimate tickets being resold at a higher rate to generate a profit – while in others, they are selling a ticket that does not exist at all.

Unfortunately, Louisiana law allows this practice as long as these sites use specific verbiage on their websites, leaving venues without any power to intervene, and, ultimately, it’s patrons like you who pay the price. We are starting the process of reaching out to legislators to amend the current law, but this will take time. The tiny bit of good news is that, as the consumer, you have options. Many patrons have had success receiving reimbursements by filing disputes with their financial institutions, but this can get more difficult the longer it’s been since your original purchase. That’s where we come in.
